These terms cover your use of this website. Your accommodation contract is a separate matter, made with reception when you book, and its conditions are given to you at that point.

Adults only

This website describes a hotel that contains a gaming floor, and it is published for people aged 18 and over. The age question on the home page is there for that reason, and if you are under 18 please leave the site. The hotel accommodates guests of any age as part of a family booking, but the first floor is closed to anyone under 18 without exception.

No gambling is offered on this website

Nothing here can be played, staked or won. The website offers no games or demonstration games, takes no wagers or deposits, allows no withdrawals and holds no accounts. The first floor room is a land-based gaming room within the hotel in Adelaide, and the only way to use it is to walk up the stair during opening hours with photographic identification in your hand. The website exists to describe it.

Accuracy, and the absence of an offer

We keep the pages current, but hours change, rooms are taken out of service, kitchens close when staff are ill and the courtyard shuts when the weather makes it unsafe. Nothing written here is a binding offer, a guarantee of availability or a promise about a particular room, table or opening time, so ring the desk before relying on a detail. This website shows no prices, and you should check with us about any figure quoted elsewhere in our name.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, stylesheet, code and drawn mark belong to Adelvale. You may read, print and quote short passages with attribution, but you may not republish the pages wholesale, present them as your own, or use the hotel's name or mark in a way that suggests we endorse you. The photographs are licensed separately and openly, under terms that travel with each image.

Every link on this site goes to another page of this site, and none leads to another host. If a page appearing to be ours links you somewhere else, it has been tampered with or it is a copy, and we would be glad to hear about it.

Conduct on the property

The building is private property. Management may refuse entry or ask a person to leave, and the first floor host may decline entry to anyone who is intoxicated, cannot produce photo identification, or has asked to be kept off the floor. Smoking is not permitted anywhere indoors, including the courtyard within four metres of a doorway. South Australian liquor and gaming law applies on the premises, and staff enforce it.

Availability of the site

The site is static and lightweight and should normally be available, but a third party serves it, so we cannot promise any particular uptime. Maintenance may happen without notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this website, from reliance on information that has gone out of date, or from an interruption to the service. Nothing in these terms excludes the guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. The courts of South Australia have jurisdiction.
